This basically. I keep as many books on my reader as possible.

Ever since I started using Calibre to send ebooks to my reader, loading time (for covers, etc) is practically non-existent so I barely have to deal with any performance issues. I also make use of Calibre's catalog function and have an epub containing synopses, etc. of the books in my library. Since the PRS-350 doesn't support metadata descriptions, having a catalog makes browsing or searching for books easier. Combined with PRSPlus' sub-collections support, it's easy to just keep a ton of books on the reader and still have them all organized and easy to find.
