I have, and I do. I have several Jinke (BebOOK/ASTAK) original 6" models with a user replaceable battery (Nokia cellphone design). I have replaced one battery so far. I expect to use them until I'm dead.

Sounds silly? I have a solar powered (cheap) simple calculator that I bought in the early 1980's. It didn't have an internal battery (remember, I said cheap) so it takes a few seconds for the solar panel to charge it up when taken out of the drawer. Still working fine after nearly 30 years...

If something does the job well, why change it every couple years?
