Thanks CommonReader. I haven't ever held one of the older Sony's, and that's possibly why I wondered what the big attraction to them is! I can certainly understand the better quality feeling they might have, the case of the T1 does seem it's biggest downfall. Better performance and superior screen are only part of it I guess, how it feels in your hand and how you 'feel' the interaction is pretty important.
