Have you ever held the previous versions? They were works of art, perfect in design and execution, with a beautiful aluminium case. Compared to them the T1 is just a plastic "me too" reader that was designed with the objective to lower production costs. Just compare the elegant integration of the pen in the PRS-350/650 with the lack of any integration with the T1.
I also dislike how they have reduced the number of available formats (no more BBeB/lrf and RTF). I hope Sony will offer a premium version of the T1 or of the next reader version. Compared with the huge choice you have with other electronic consumer products the level of choice you have with readers is very limited anyway.
