That is the BIG problem with the Fire. There is no Index file. Thus, dictionairies, encyclopedias and most bibles do not work properly.
The only exception is the Tecarta Bibles which do have everything indexed. There one can go to the next chapter by sweeping left and the previous chapter by sweeping right. One can get instantaeous locations of every word, phrase and verse in the Bible. That happens to be an Android App.
