There is a TV show called the Nany that is writen around that idea. You remember the plot, she (Fran Drescher) "was thrown out in a crushing sceen, so over the bridge to the shefield's door, she had smile she had class that's why she became the nany". The hallarious Yetta you probably have seen again on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit in an episode called Alternate as the church laddy. Yetta did her best work in a prior show called I dream of Jeannie as a character named Thelma Crawford or the Dick Van Dike show where she played a role as Millie Helper.
