Nora Roberts frequently writes from the male point of view, and may be more accessible to you. For that, I recommend Northern Lights. I also recommend Blue Smoke, although it's not all written from the male PoV.

If you have a tolerance for rather disjointed story lines that all comes together in the end, her Three Fates is great fun, and has one of the best revenge scenes in it that I can recall.
