One of the reasons we upgraded is the first gen iPads aren't running the apps well anymore. I think it has to do with the developers producing apps for the 3 and not taking into account the older models having more limited processing power. One fo the games I play recently updated and it now it crashes all the time. Luckily, we got our shipping notification today and I should have it on Tuesday, a week earlier than expected.
