After a long slog, I finally was able to upload my client's epub to the iTunes bookstore. At the very end of the process, I got the following message –

ERROR: ERROR ITMS-9000: "OEBPS/Text/Section0004.xhtml(109): 'Searchables': fragment identifier is not defined in 'OEBPS/Text/Section0008.xhtml'" at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)
[2012-03-24 18:21:32 PDT] <main> DBG-X: The error code is: 1102

In my epub, Section0004 is my linked TOC and Section0008 is a list of searchable subjects. I have an anchor tag in Section0008 ("Searchables") and a link in Section0004 to that tag. I have checked the coding for this and it looks ok to me. The link works and is the same that I have used in all the other chapter links (except for the names of the chapters are different.) Is this the problem? I have uploaded this same epub file to BN and that went ok. What is Apple not liking and how can I fix this issue?
