And yet I'm equally sure you don't see it that way -- nor should you have to.
To do certain kinds of work, however, one has to be willing to do the tech stuff. My personal concern about Apple at the moment is not whether people will respect me as a person who uses their products. It's whether users like me have a future with iOS as opposed to OSX, and about how difficult it will be to transition to different gear if we don't, since recording music can involve expensive setups no matter what kinds of desktops we use.
