Look, do you want to have an intelligent conversation or do you want to just mindlessly bait Apple customers? Because I have better things to deal than try to reason with some Apple hater. I'll give you one more chance at meaningful discussion (though I'm not hopeful).

I think Apple wants to do something big in the TV space. It is however constrained by the media companies who are reluctant to give Apple the keys to the kingdom the way the music companies did with iTunes.
I think Apple will move forward with an upgrade of its Apple TV set-top box. The problem here is that there are other set-top boxes which do a better job of bringing movie and TV content to the TV for less money than Apple TV, unless you have all your movie and TV content in iTunes . Apple TV's ace in the hole is the App Store. It can bring 500,000 apps to the TV screen, including thousands of games. This might be a functionality that people want instead of buying a separate game console.
There is also the Airplay, iCloud, and the integration with Photo Stream. With Apple TV, you can throw up your photo collection on the big screen without the need for removable storage or a dongle. For business purposes, you can also throw up a presentation or a portfolio.
Apple now refers to Apple TV as a hobby. I think we'll see Apple move it into the "pro" category by next year.
