This is just bizarre. I ran Check Library again and this time there were no errors. I think I'll stop worrying about it, at least I'll try to stop worrying.
I really hope it's not a hard drive problem; I had to replace the hard drive in my laptop four months ago and I don't need that expense again so soon. Maybe it's time to shop for a new laptop.
