I wonder about polishing - I have not had time to look into it, but I will over the weekend. there also is a store in town that did a beautiful (and cheap) job in repairing my GF's ipad screen - well, I guess replacing it.

Sanding down the stylus might not be a bad idea. Right now, I am using the stylus from my 350.
