JSWolf, if you read from iPad for a long time you may have the same eyes as on your avatar
The jetBook Color is a lot better if you only want to read as the screen is a lot more like paper than the iPads screen and can be read in full sun and any other lit conditions. So I think this school made the right choice because they really care about their students.
