There are a lot of people out there that pirate eBooks because of DRM. They are forced to buy with DRM. So they strip the DRM and send them out in the wild while eBooks tey purchase that do not come with DRM are kept at home.

Also, some people pirate because of the agency rip-off prices & DRM.
