The bungelow park only has a wireless hotspot in the main building and in the bungelows there's a wired connection. Because I suspected that there would be only one LAN outlet I had packed an old network switch. Yesterday after hooking everything up it didn't work, luckily I soon saw a cross-cable pictogram on the switch  . I had brought several network cables but no cross-cable. Luckily we're close enough to the main building to connect to the hotspot but it's very slow. Today we found a "real" (read: independent, small and actually having knowledge about computers) computershop in the village who made a cross-cable for me so now both my sister and me have fast internet. |
Hooray for fast internet!! And also for pasta salad. Yummm....
