The problem I have, especially with "true" Apple fanboys, is so many of them would simply never even
consider a product by anybody else. Monkeyluis is not in this category and strikes me as quite knowledgeable. (not that he cares, nor should he, what I think.)
What Apple has also created is a group of people (not all Apple users, not by a long shot, but quite a few) who are completely non-technical who use their products. Which is great, Apple really is good at bringing tech to people and making it intuitive and easy to use. But when those people, who don't know the difference between an arse cheek and a gigabyte, start lecturing me about what to buy, they are annoying.
Everyone says an Ipad is so easy to use I got one for my grandma. Marvellous. Until grandma starts thinking that now that she knows how to get online, shes an expert on all things technylogickal and stuff.
