Issybird beat me to the '7' one. Don't know all the reasons, but you've got Enid Blyton's Secret Seven, the 7 deadly sins and a book called something like 'The 7 Skills of Effective Managers'.
'The Joy of Sex', Amy Tan wrote 'The Joy Luck Club', Beethoven's 'Ode to Joy' are the only ones I know for the 'joy' one.
Still pondering the other two - this is a tricky one!
