Definitely: yes. Seems to me that they brought the tech to the field of ereaders prematurely. If you see this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=b83dIs7S4Ug and skip to min 8:00 you'll see that Triton's basic idea would better fit big advertising posters, big panels, for outdoors. It needs strong light (and big pixels to catch it) to display saturated colours.
For advertisings or art it's a great idea, I'd replace every backlighted advertising panel in the streets with an e-ink one so you don't waste energy.
