I do that as well. For instance I'm currently reading the first Twenty Palaces novel and I know I'm going to have to leave it in the living room when I head to bed. SuperFreakonomics has been my bedtime reading of late. It's an amazing book, but not one that makes me want to stay up all night reading it. :-)
