It is definitely overpriced when you consider apple have over 50% margin, but when people are willing to queue for days to throw their money at apple, you can't blame them for riding the wave and milking their customers dry; apple is a marketing genius. Mind you, most tablets are overpriced, but not by as much as only apple has the economy of scales.
And this margin is greater with the larger capacity models - really, $100 for an extra 16GB?
