B&N are running a promo on their front page which says that if you purchase any 2 books from
this particular 73 book "Engrossing Fiction" list between March 17th and April 1st, you will get back a $5 gift certificate to put into your account. This seems like a decent way to get around the no-discounting limitations imposed by Agency pricing if they're not going to do coupons on the non-Agency books.
It's a mix of "modern classics" and recent bestsellers and the lowest-priced book that I spotted was $1.99 (but most are around $10). There's Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale and Daniel Keyes' Flowers For Algernon in there if you're looking for sf stuff (but I think I've seen those much cheaper during special discount sales).
