Well, it looks to me like you're doing a great deal there!
For all the effort you lost a jetbook, had a JBC for a few days, and ended up with a newer version of the Jetbook!
If the new screen is the same as in the Jetbook mini, it's nearly the same, except under certain angles the contrast ratio is much higher, due to a better reflection of the back screen I presume. It does look a tiny bit lighter, but not much.
