So if I do decide to get an Android 7" tablet is the Android Kobo eReader software the same as what is on the Vox or is it different?

Mind you the feature set on the Vox is so limited compared to the Touch it doesn't really matter that much. You can't sort books by author and title and you can't search your library. You might as well only have five or ten books on the Vox.
