Say I have to leave for an appt at 4:10 (I do). I can glance at the microwave clock, and see it is 3:50, but it doesn't always register. I am doing 2 other things at the same time, and the only thing I retain is "it isn't 4:10" But if I had an analog clock, I would remember I had a relatively long time until I had to leave.

Again, it is just learning to function with ADD. If I only looked at the clock, and wasn't doing anything else, either would work.
