Wikipedia is, at best 80% as accurate as a traditional encyclopedia (*this number from an NPR story a while back). Sounds good, until you try to guess which 2 out ten "facts" you need are the inaccurate ones.

When doing any kind of research you are supposed to check the sources anyway, not blindly decide that someone said it so it must be true.
