The .html source is always left behind when using Mobi2IMP (in fact any "convert to" output format can be used (not just .oeb)). It also leaves behind a .opf that can easily be loaded into Mobipocket creator (or eBook Publisher). The .html will have all <mbp: pagebreak>'s removed which is not a good thing if you want to reuse the html to create another .prc!
In that case, Mobi2html (part of the Mobiperl suite of programs by tompe) does a better job of converting for eventual reuse in Mobipocket creator, but it doesn't have a GUI!
