This poor performance has lead Frank M. Fazio to allege that Apple's advertising campaign for Siri showing people using Siri to help them learn to play music, find local restaurants and schedule appointments is misleading. Fazio bought an iPhone 4S in November for $299 (presumably the 32GB model), and claims he would not have shelled out that much money for a new iPhone if not for Apple's Siri advertisements.

You'd think if that was the primary reason he bought his iPhone 4S, he would have used it enough in the first 14 days and just returned the device.
Yes, Siri sucks, has major trouble understanding accents and is quite gimmicky. However, I dislike pointless class action lawsuits more. Granted, I'd be happy to have those Siri commercials gone. It really is false advertising. While we watch most of our shows on DVR and can just skip the commercials, we can't do that when watching the news on Live TV.
