I loved listening to the narrator's Scottish accent while listening to the Outlander Series. I wasn't a huge fan of the series but I enjoyed the books, I think in large part due to the narration.

Slightly off topic, one of my favorite audio book narrators is Barbara Rosenblatt. My first audio book (back when they were called Books on Tape and digital formats didn't yet exist) was Crocodile on the Sandbank by Elizabeth Peters. For a long time I thought Ms. Rosenblatt was British and she did a very good American accent, rather than the other way around. I read the Amelia Peabody series of books (on tape) while painting my kitchen.
