I waited this long to buy a Kindle because I knew this was it's biggest problem. You lose a lot of warmth with ebooks, but I like putting some of it back. I usually check a paper copy or Amazon preview to see the flyleaf and chapter headings. And I've gotten pretty good re-creating them with Word, but
this book is a whole other animal. I'm glad I paid attention to the ebook-version reviews.
