Regardless of the common perception, Batman has lost on occasion. One of his most famous losses was against Prometheus, the fight only lasted a few seconds and Batman was unconscious.
The key for Batman is preparation and knowledge. If he has time to prepare and/or knows his foe well, then he will win. In the case of his battle with Prometheus, he had little knowledge about his foe and he had no time to prepare.
But back to the make topic here: winning. I'll take the win.
