Any new Alternate history authors just over the Horizon?
I'm not talking about established authors, but maybe some new authors we've not heard of yet. OK, maybe established authors who don't normally write alternative history.
I'm tired of stories of "what if Germany had won WW2" type stories, or stories about the American Civil War; yes, yes, as wars go, they are important milestones in world history and shaped the world's future, without question. But what about the OTHER major historical milestones?
What about other, less significant events, might a different outcome have had significant implications throughout the generations?
I love Alternate History, but I can see the genre dying out from a lack of willingness to consider ALL of history! All cultures!
