The issue is not whether they were addressed. You were hinting that apple do a better job than others on release, and I merely pointed out that they were as human as any other company and made mistakes.

There is a difference though; apple have the means to convince some (emphasis on this word), that there is nothing wrong with a flawed device ("you are holding it wrong") or convince some to accept a flawed device in exchange for a piece of rubber worth nothing. I dislike this practice; if you make a mistake, man up and accept it, don't go finding excuses or blaming your customers for "holding it wrong".
