That's the point I'm making... Where is it? I really have searched for it extensively in Japan. As I said, I can find it on the Internet, but never yet seen it actually for sale. One would think that after 25 years living in a country I would be able to find at least ONE place that actually sold it... Frankly, I'm curious about the taste in the same way that I'm curious about the taste of human. I doubt that I'd ever actually try either, but that doesn't stop me from wondering...
Raw horse meat is served as a sashimi in southern Japan, but you don't often find it north of Kyushu (the south island.) I'm planning a 2-week bike ride around the northern-most island of Hokkaido for this summer. I wonder if whale meat is more common there?
