Somebody, somewhere must have accurate information, but I sure can't find any! The Internet is full of 'facts' about it that get disputed left and right. I hear about the whaling ships from news sources, I hear about restaurants selling the stuff from new sources outside of Japan, but it must be hidden even better than recreational drugs or bullets (the penalty for possession of even one marijuana seed is 5 years in jail, no parole, and possession of a bullet [not the gun, just the bullet] is even longer) because no matter how hard I've looked, I can only find 'written' evidence of whale meat being sold, never the actual meat. It makes me wonder...

I wonder who is eating it then? We know the Norwegians catch their own, but do they eat it?
