Couldn't agree more, Don. And were it not for MobileRead and its members, I would have never found what are now some of my favourite authors.
Currently reading:
Faro's Daughter by Georgette Heyer. I'd started to read the first Inspector Banks book by Peter Robinson, but kept getting interrupted and couldn't get into it. So I put it away for a bit and picked up a book I know will keep me going. I still want to give Robinson a chance, so I'll push it down the list a bit and come back when I know I have a couple of days to spend with it.
Just finished "reading"
Restless in the Grave by Dana Stabenow, read by Marguerite Gavin. I have the book on my Kindle as well, but I have always enjoyed the Gavin readings of her books, and decided to let my first reading of it be an audio one.
Restless in the Grave is the 19th and latest Kate Shugak mystery, with a twist -- it includes Liam Campbell as well from her other Alaskan series. As with all of Stabenow's books, Alaska is front and center. Alaskan people, Alaskan natives and incomers, and the state itself are very much what the book is about. An excellent book and very well read by Ms. Gavin. 5 stars whether you read it or listen to it.
