Same here. I have no desire to join Pottermore, I just want the ebooks.
Beta tester here. At the moment, the only way to access the store link (which is still locked) is if you have a Pottermore account. I'm fairly certain that once the store goes live, even if you're required to have a Pottermore account to buy the books, you won't have to actually do any of the activities to gain access to the store. They know there are some people who will be buying the ebooks as their first set of Potter books, and you really need to have read the books already (or be reading them as you play) to get anything out of the Pottermore activities.
