The price of
tablets IS $ 200. You can choose from a lot of Chinese/Taiwanese/Korean tablets at that price point, all with their respective advantages/shortcomings. The Kindle Fire is possible the best "solid" pick here, IMO.
The price of
iPads, however, has NOT dropped to $ 200, and I don't see it going there anytime soon.
