It may look pretty and boot faster, and require less rebooting, but I don't know if all the "improvements" will be worth it. Here's a summary of the changes in Vista from a news.com article (via Slashdot).

We'll see, but I may become one of those that tries to get a few extra years out of Win XP by buying a hi-powered PC without Longhorn while I still can. Every time I hear that Microsoft is trying to simplify something, it scares me!
