MobileRead Forums - View Single Post - black (or missing ) covers on epub-mobi conversion

My cover works just fine for epub on thgins, but when I run it through calibre to covert to a mobi file, then email it to my kindle, the thumbnail is just a black box- although the cover art is shown inside the film.

any ideas?
