So if the device uses the old ID... it's detected as a Nook (and that precludes having a different driver made). The user is free to disable the Nook Driver and customise the 'User Defined USB Driver'. Both can not be enabled at the same time .

Thanks for the response, which caused a brain fart! I will disable the Nook drivers and / or run the set-up again and choose generic droid.
In the meantime because I am able to view folders I'm searching peripheral drives for books and adding to my library.
