Adobe Digital Editions vs iLiad
Well .. here I am. Needed to get me a book for an exam, and due to time constraints, I just can't wait for the hardcover book to ship to me. So I remember I have this nifty device lying around, an early version iLiad. Since the shipping time on an ebook is the time needed to download it, it seemed an ideal solution.
I browse around a bit, find this website (booksonboard.com or some such) that sells the needed book the cheapest. I whip out the credit card, and get directed to some weird site that tells me I need Adobe Digital Editions. Ok ... I can do that. I even manage to get that stuff to work on two different computers, which is great. But. I have this nice and nifty gizmo lying around, since there is no browser, I *could* bring it to said exam (it's an "open book" exam). Bringing my laptop is a definite no-go.
So ... anyone out there have an idea how I can make this ebook readable on my iLiad ?
Cheers,
Klaas
