It came out last week. I've installed it and have not noted any problems. Other people have reported that it does indeed fix the duplicate notes issue. The discussion was buried in other threads so many probably missed it. I think you are the first to post a dedicated thread which probably hints at how many people have given up on the new Sony software. At least they have now done several updates. Still more work to do make it more stable though.
