I started "reading" my first book yesterday. Wow....the ease on eyes is same as a book, but without the awkward holding that a book has. I found myself reading about 1.5X faster (at least). This was a nice little bonus I wasn't expecting.   |
Congrats on the purchase. I'm in the same boat as yourself only my "awakening" happened 2 years ago. I didn't think ereaders were that big a deal when they first came out and I scoffed at them until I got my Kindle. I'm totally sold on them now and can't even think about going back to normal print books.
