if you go to the "feedback" forum you will see the thread where i humbly asked for an explanation of multi-quote as well.
so now i can explain to you, that you click the multi-quote button of every post you want to quote (it seems to remeber the order as well), then (this is key) YOU MUST CLICK "NEW REPLY" at the bottom of the page. otherwise, it does nothing, except if you leave them clicked you will have maddening reminders every time you post that "You have selected 3 posts that are not part of this thread. Quote these posts as well, or deselect these posts." until you do one of the two.
