I have never seen a Redbox kiosk. So I just looked at a map of Redbox locations in Brooklyn and oddly enough, they are all in the less affluent parts of Brooklyn. Not one in "Brownstone Brooklyn" which is the whiter (if I could be so blunt), more affluent areas. I'm not sure why that is, sure real estate is expensive here but how much real estate does a kiosk take?
The first time I heard about RedBox, I thought that you select the movie, and then it burns a disc for you with that movie on it while you wait. That would be kind of cool, no?
Anyway, we mostly do the Time Warner On Demand movies. We don't watch enough movies to make Netflix worth it. I just recently figured out how to connect my laptop to the TV, so we will start watching streaming movies sometimes. So far the only thing I have streamed is a free episode of "Sid the Science Kid" that was on Amazon.
