All sorts are broken. You can fix them by finding the #ref that gets added and deleting it and all they way up to the last &sort=

or just type in the sort by hand (sometimes almost as fast) to modify the command.

OTOH - if you are on the Kindle fire, the searches have been broken since day one. Find a title, fine, open the book page, so far so good, click the author name - get bad command and no result. You have to edit the command line/URL and change every %2520 to %20, so that it searches (as %20 is the space and the stupid silk browser apparently screws it up and adds the extra "25".
