A word problem, with no right answer.
Think of English words of at least six letters that can be reduced, one letter at a time, to another English word, down to a three-letter word.
As an example: cheater, heater, hater, hate, hat
Winner is the person who comes up with the entries with the highest total of letters in the original words. Let's not bother with tacking an s onto entries to pad totals, although it's fine if an internal s ends up at the end as the word is reduced.
