You're right, Link2SD is much easier to use than i thought.
Used MiniTool to create the 2 partitions, installed the app, selected the new partition - done.
Using the system storage for apps didn't seem optimal, EbookDroid for instance didn't work from system/apps;
btw: removing the above demo-apps doesn't protect you from ending up in demo-mode anyway - exiting also still works fortunately;
