Especially the ones that require the operator to turn mechanical dials to set the date/time. Such precision!

...a wormhole, when found, always goes somewhere where there is either a "Class M" planet or a mineable asteroid belt or another wormhole to lead further onward. Unless, of course, multiple wormholes are found in the same system. Then one of them will always lead to a completely empty point in space and the scientists/crew will be baffled as to its existence.
